Authentik Artists is proud to announce the signing of IAMMEDIC from Orange County, CA. Their new EP The “Tale Of Abigale Withers” will be released digitally on October 5, 2010 and new tracks from the effort can be heard on their official Myspace page HERE . The EP was mixed by Mark Needham (The Killers, Metro Station) and produced by vocalist Enik Lin, Ian Kirkpatrick (Call The Cops) and Mark Maxwell (Millionaires).
IAMMEDIC features ex-members of Burning Tree Project (Tragic Hero Records) and the band is already gaining early notoriety with their single “Cut Me Up” and with their official remix for Interscope artist Far East Movement. We are proud to announce the signing of Hip Hop artist JB from Sacramento, CA and the formation of label Diamond Kid Records. JB brings a fresh approach to an over-saturated Hip Hop scene with forward thinking beats, lyrics and the new EP Love Me Or Hate Me which hits online retailers Feb 23rd 2010. This marks the debut release for JB and Authentik Artists imprint label Diamond Kid Records which was founded by producer and Automatic Static frontman Z Rokk.

” We at Diamond Kid Records along with our partners at Authentik Artists are proud to present JB, our first signing and the first Hip hop signing to the Authentik Artists family. JB is the REAL DEAL. A kid from Oak Park in Sacramento California, JB has been in the hip hop game since he was a small kid. Rapping on street corners with his friends and navigating his was through a tough street life, JB has emerged himself into the story teller he is today with a twist. JB loves many different types of music and when he producer/songwriter/ Z Rokk began to produce his album JB was determined to put a new stamp on the hip hop world and give back to the music he has loved his whole life. He brought with him an eclectic sound that fuses together heavy guitars, melodic hooks, and almost “electronica” instrumentation into the classic street hip hop sound. When you think of JB many artists may come to mind. He shows hilights of 50 meets Linkin Park meets MSTRCRFT meets Cypress Hill meets Deftones. Truly Unique and a new movement JB likes to call “Mob Rock!”
His new EP “Love Me or Hate Me” brings this sound with a furry of hooks and compelling lyrics that tell the story of a young man’s journey from the street to the music world of today.
