I Am The Icarus will be hitting the studio with producer Z Rokk (Deftones, Far, Third Eye Blind) from June 28th-July 2nd to finish up tracking their yet to be titled new album. The effort will see a late Summer release and those unfamiliar with the band can hear music on Myspace Music.

Authentik Artists is proud to announce the signing of I Am The Icarus from San Diego, CA.
I Am The Icarus is the brainchild rock project of San Diego, CA-native Daniel Godfrey. With diverse musical influences such as Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails, Daniel set out to showcase his diverse taste in alternative rock on his new self-titled EP. The release features five tracks including “Miss Blue” and “The Secret To Living Is Dying Well” and was produced by Shaun Lopez of FAR/Deftones fame, who additionally contributed guitars to the album. FAR drummer Chris Robyn rounded out the sessions resulting in a modern rock sound with undeniably 90’s influences. I Am The Icarus will be releasing a self-titled digital EP on August 18th, 2009.

Hailing from Los Angeles, CA Overbreaker is determined to make a rock record that people can’t ignore. With massive guitar tones and a rock solid rhythm section, each member is a veteran musician with A-list session and national/international tour experience. Lead singer Ryan Hudson is no stranger to the music scene, having recently worked with Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins and Courtney Love, amongst others. Overbreaker is Hudson’s latest project and it was due to his commitment to great songwriting and musicianship that he enlisted the chops of lead guitarist Fordays, who has the unique distinction of being the former lead guitarist of KMFDM. Completing the rhythm section are accomplished bass player Dave Castagner and in-demand session and touring drummer Ryan Petersen (Liz Phair, etc.) Overbreaker’s new EP is now available on iTunes, Amazon, and most other online retailers.

Automatic Static was born in an old one-bedroom apartment in downtown Sacramento CA in the spring of 2005 by Zac Diebels, who previously toured the world while a member of Hollywood Records act Simon Says.
The band has just finished work on their newest 6 song EP entitled “The Murder of California” which was produced by Diebels and mixed by Shaun Lopez (Far, Deftones, Demon Hunter). The EP features their first single “Hey Now” and is now available by Authentik Artists on iTunes, Amazon.com and most other online retailers.

We are pleased to announce that Brandon Rogers has recently signed a deal with Authentik Artists to release his new single “Broken”. Brandon has been in the studio this week with producer/engineer Shaun Lopez (Deftones/We The Living) and Executive Producer Scott Austin (Tyler Hilton, MoZella, We The Living) tracking the effort. “Broken” will be mixed by multi-platinum engineer Mark Needham (The Killers / Cake) and is set for an August release.
