Automatic Static was born in an old one-bedroom apartment in downtown Sacramento CA in the spring of 2005 by Zac Diebels, who previously toured the world as a member of Hollywood Records act Simon Says. Auto Stat’s aggressive and sometimes bone-crushing sound has repeatedly been the cocktail of choice for music supervisors and brand managers alike, with placements in dozens of spots on television, in video games and high-profile retail campaigns.
The band has just finished work on their newest 6 song EP entitled “The Murder of California” which was produced by Diebels and mixed by Shaun Lopez (Far, Deftones, Demon Hunter). The EP features their first single “Hey Now” and is now available by Authentik Artists on iTunes, Amazon.com and most other online retailers.
