Matt Stansberry is now offering fans a free download of a new release called Self Portrait EP: Uncovered. Below is some information on the EP taken from his BandCamp.com site. Download the EP HERE.
“I get asked quite a bit about what inspires me to write music or specifically what my songs are about. “Uncovered” is simply me pushing the record button at my home studio and loosely talking about each song from my 2009 release, Self Portrait EP, along with a raw uncut/unedited performance with me and my guitar (I over-layed a second guitar part on each song for fun, but ended up keeping those parts on there for you). There’s no production, auto tune or re-takes on these rough mixes…I’m just giving this away to my friends and fans as a free download exclusively though Band Camp. Hopefully this collection and storytelling approach will give you a deeper appreciation for the songs on the record.”
